KATHMANDU, Jan 23: The victorious Nepali football team, that clinched the title of Bangabandhu Gold Cup, returned home on Saturday.
A large numbers of supporters cheered for the players as they walked out of the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) from Dhaka, Bangladesh.
According to All Nepal National Football Association (ANFA), a victory rally will be taken out in honor of the team that ended title drought for Nepal after 23 years.
The rally will begin at TIA and will reach Dashrath Stadium passing through Gaushala, Old Baneshwor, New Baneshwor, Singha Durbar, Sahid Gate, New Road, Ratna Park, Purano Buspark, Bhadrakali and Tripureshwor.
