In an Year more than 26000 innocent lives has gone due to the addiction of tobacco products because of the reason Ministry of Health and Population since 2070 B.S to decrease the consumption of Tobacco products has implemented a rule of keeping 75 percent warning images in the packet of such tobacco products. Recently this rule has been changed and increased to 90 percent.Government has again taken steps on controlling the consumption of tobacco products in the public area, only in two days Nepal police has arrested 527 people taking tobacco products in the public area and have charged them with 100 Rs. each and also have given them Now Tobacco producers must implement 90 percent of warning signs and images in their tobacco products packets. Giving 6 months of time to the producers to finish their old stock and from jestha 2072 this rule was made compulsory by the Ministry of Health and Population.But the tobacco producing companies has been denying the fact and has still not followed the rule, these company has been still selling the products without proper warning signs and images .
