A girl has gone missing in the Narayani River while doing selfie. She is Smita Gyawali, 19, of Gaidakot municipality, according to the District Police Office, Chitwan. The incident took place when Smita skidded into the river in course of taking picture at the river bank on Sunday afternoon.According to the District Police Office, Chitwan, Smita Gyawali (19) along with her friends including Namrata Sapkota of Gaindakot Municipality-16 of Nawalparasi district, had gone to the river bank, on the Gaindakot side, for a stroll. Police, however, rescued Namrata Sapkota, 18, of the same place. Search for the missing Smita, student at Aroma College, Bharatpur, is going one, added police. The other, according to an eyewitness Shyam Thapa, most probably Gyawali, jumped into the river to save her friend.Sapkota was rescued alive but Gyawali has gone missing in the river, police said. -
