The programme, produced by Kripa Drishya Digital, presents unplugged versions of Nepali hit musical number. It is slated to start its new season this August.
This season will feature 26 performers, including 16 bands and 10 single artists. Kunti Moktan, Ram Krishna Dhakal, Sabin Rai, Albatross and Prem Pariyar are some of the artists involved this time around.
Unlike the previous year, when artists’ performances were shot only a week prior to an episode’s airing, all the episodes have already been recorded and will be released one by one throughout the six-month-long, 26 episode journey. The recording studio was done up in such a way that it bespoke the seriousness of the endeavour. With Nepali folk instruments dangling down the walls, it was apparent that the episodes would be all about producing serious music.
