Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Kamal Thapa said Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's recent state visit to India was highly successful and memorable. Addressing an interaction programme on a "new dimension to Nepal-India relations after the Prime Minister's India visit," organised by the Nepal-India Friendship Society here Friday, the Deputy Prime Minister said the deep friendship has been established between the two neighbours after the Prime Minister's state visit to India. The visit turned fruitful in restoring the bilateral ties with clearing off bitterness, coldness and misunderstandings seen of late on the long friendship, he said, adding both countries have struck significant deals on hydropower, trade and transition sectors.
