A 19-year-old youth, working as a domestic help at a house in Sector 22, today committed suicide by hanging himself.According to the police, the victim, identified as Padam, a native of Nepal, took the extreme step when he was alone in the house.Inspector Uday Pal, SHO of the Sector 17 police station, said the owner of the house was at his shop when the victim committed suicide.The victim was taken to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital (GMSH), Sector 16, where doctors declared him brought dead.No suicide note was recovered from the spot.Statements of the house owner have been recorded by the police. -
