PM Narendramodi and PM KP Oli inaugurate Dhalkebar Muzaffarpur transmission line -

New Delhi, Feb 20: Prime Minister Narendra Modi along with his Nepali counterpart K P Oli inaugurated 400 KV India-Nepal transmission system in the national capital on Saturday. Modi stressed that for development of South region, transport corridors between India and Nepal can act as highways. Oli thanked India for his support and contributions during the severe earthquake in Nepal last year and said that he had arrived to clear the misunderstanding between two nations that settled in last few months. Expressing his deep concerns over the unrest in Nepal since last few months, Modi said that the both the countries can only develop when there is a peace in the environment. Focusing on Madhesis’ protest, Modi said that India’s security depends on Nepal’s peaceful environment. He said, “This is quite clear that Nepal’s stability is co-related with India’s security.” Modi said for development of both the countries on economic front transport corridors will provide a way.
