As Super Bowl 50 is upon us today, let us appreciate the fine American sport and one part that sports us fight fans really enjoy, is the fights. We expect a very respectful game today between one legend of the sport who may be playing in his last football game, and another player who is beginning his legacy.
Now as a fight fan we tend to appreciate a fight no matter where it happens, whether it be in the UFC, on the street, or even when it happens during another sporting event. But when you see these NFL super athletes fight each other, it always makes me scratch my head and wonder why they aren’t fighting in the UFC, then I look at the UFC salaries compared to NFL salaries, and then I realize. It also is rather fun to see these guys swing at each other when they have all this equipment on.
