According to SP Hari Bahadur Pal, Chief of Kaski District Police Office, the woman’s uterus has been sent to Kathmandu to check whether she had been raped.A team led by DSP Gajusiddhi Bajraharya has been actively investigating into the case, he added.
The locals had also organised a rally against the concerned authorities’ failure to identify and punish the culprit at the earliest.
Pun was also an actor in various Magar language films. She had debuted as a supporting actor in the film ‘Gaaula’ at the age of 15.
She always dreamed of being an artiste and aimed to preserve the Magar culture through films, the family informed.
