Nepali Congress's 13th convention has been inaugurated at Kathmandu. During the convention, many top leaders of political parties of Nepal gave speech as well as few minsters and leaders from other countries were present in the event and gave speech and also provided views regarding Nepali Congress. One of the minister of India also gave speech where he apologized with Nepali on behalf of India for doing blockade in Nepal for six months. He shared that due to India's internal political problems, Nepal had to face blockade for six months due to which Nepali had to face problems for six months. Bijay Pratap in public apologized with Nepali for such blockade due to which Nepali had to face problems. Also Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda directly asked with Indian Ministers about the reason for doing blockade in Nepal by India.
