Chief Minister of Indian state of Bihar Nitish Kumar today separately called on President Bidhya Devi Bhandari and Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli. During these meetings, he discussed Nepal-India relations and strong cultural, social and economic ties between the Tarai districts of Nepal and Bihar. He also met Unified CPN-Maoist Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal. Nitish Kumar arrived in Kathmandu today to take part in the Nepali CongressтАЩ 13th National General Convention, which is scheduled to begin tomorrow. Meanwhile, over a dozen foreign delegates have arrived or are due to arrive in the capital to take part in the NC jamboree.a

The foreign delegates are from various political parties of India, Bangladesh, Mongolia, Cambodia and the Socialist International Movement. тАЬMost of them have already arrived in Kathmandu,тАЭ said Rakesh Hamal, a member of the NC 13th General Convention International Coordination Committee. Bangladeshi Information Minister Hasanul Haq Inu, General Secretary of Indian National Congress BK Hariprasad, Indian MP and leader of JD(U) KC Tyagi, Chairman of International Department of Council of Ministers of Cambodia Yos Son, and Chair of Socialist International Luis Ayala arrived today, while IndiaтАЩs ruling Bharatiya Janata PartyтАЩs senior leader Bhagat Singh Koshiyari is due to arrive tomorrow to take part in the NC convention.
