Shama Sikander who won a million hearts, thanks to her cute TV stints has made a bold comeback! With her short film called Sexaholic where she essays the primary role of a sex addict. A trademark shift from the kind of roles she’s best known for, Shama has taken this brave step. But she was initially hesitant to take it up.After a lot of cajoling by her director, she finally took it up. But even then, she was apprehensive of how her family members, especially her mother would react to her performance. She told in an interview to Bollywoodlife.com, “I first showed the film to my mom. She comes from a small-town and had never seen anything explicit in her life. The first few scenes scandalised her.”But slowly, there was a shift in her reactions, she adds. “I saw a change in her towards the climax. She told me that she loved my performance and was very proud of me. Mom said you have a lot of courage to take up a project like this. My family’s been supportive of all my decisions, especially my mom.”
