Nabina Lama has been elected new Chairperson of the CPN-UML-aligned All Nepal National Free Students Union. The 22nd national general convention of the ruling party’s student wing elected Lama to the top post for next two years. ANNFSU is the most largest and responsible student union of Nepal. There are rare histories of pride associated with the student’s movement in the whole world and Nepal stands as the country with such rare history. From its establishment, ANNFSU has been raising its voice on three major issues i.e Nationality, People Oriented Education and Livelihood as well as People’s rule. It has been standing on the forefront by advocating on these major topics with which it has gained popularity among the student community. After established of ANNFSU in 2022 B.S it has develop itself as the the leader of the student movements. It has sometimes taken responsibility as defender of nationality and sometimes it has been the role model for the social transformation. It has sometimes become the leader of educational movement while in recent April revolution it has cordial proved its role as the fighter for the democratic-federal-republic Nepal. In this changed scenario,ANNFSU has more responsibilities and obligation towards the general people. ANNFSU shall play the role of positive catalyst to enhance prosperity of Nepal and Nepalese citizens in the exercising the obtained their rights and privileges. It shall formulate the path towards the construction and creation of present student movement. Thus,would like to appeal for the positive suggestion from our national and international comrades,friends and acquaintances.
